Banned substance found in McDowell’s decongestant medicine

WEST PALM BEACH – Smash GC’s Graeme McDowell is being suspended one tournament for violating LIV’s anti-doping policy.
He will be suspended for one tournament. He will miss the Greenbrier tournament.
According to LIV, he violated the policy during LIV’s Nashville event for using a decongestant medicine that contained R-methamphetamine, a banned substance on LIV’s tour.
McDowell will be eligible to return to competition at LIV Chicago September 13-15, according to LIV
