Dean Burmester secures spot at U.S Open

JUPITER – The Bear’s Club played host to the final round qualifying of the U.S Open. Nine LIV golfers competed for five spots in to the U.S Open at Pinehurst. However, only one LIV golfer made it: Dean Burmester. Dean finished 6 under, shooting a 68 in the first round and 70 in the second round.

Two other LIV golfer came close to securing a spot.

Anirban Lahiri and Joaquin Niemann finished 2 under.

Brendan Grace finished 8 holes and had to stop due to a wrist injury. We will see if he plays in Houston this weekend.

LIV heads to Houston for their eight event of the season.
