Rahm leads the way for LIV golfers into round three

PARIS – LIV golfers have taken a bit of a hit in the second round with half of the golfers inside of the top 20.

There are only two LIV golfers in the top ten after round two Jon Rahm (4th place) and Joaquin Niemannn (T10)

Rahm (Spain) shot a 5-under 66 to move up three spots. He had six birdies and one bogey

Niemann (Chile) fell 6 spots after shooting 1-under 70. He recorded three birdies and two bogeys

David Puig (Spain) and Carlos Ortiz (Mexico) are tied in 19th place

Puig moved up two spots. He shot 2-under 69. His second round featured four birdies and two bogeys.

Ortiz fell four spots shooting 1-under 70, highlighted by 5 birdies, two bogeys and one double bogey

Abraham Ancer finished T35. He shot even 71. He did not do well in his second round performance with four birdies, two bogeys and one double bogey. This performance did move him up two spots.

Adrian Meronk and Mito Pereira finished outside the top 50.

Meronk went down three spots after shooting even 71 for the day, He had four birdies and four bogeys.

Pereira had the toughest day for any of the LIV golfers so far. After shooting 2-under yesterday, he finished his second round shooting 5-over 76. He dropped 26 spots. His horrific round was highlighted with only one birdie, three bogeys and one double bogeys.
